My name is Deuscies

I am a UX Researcher based in Montreal, Canada. I value the focus on psychology when studying the user experience to reveal users' subconscious needs, and to craft designs that harmonize with their thoughts, cognitions, perceptions, behaviours and motivations.

My background in Psychology at McGill University enabled me to foster strong people-oriented research and empathy skills, where I open-mindedly studied people to understand why they do the things that they do, allowing me to surface the right user problem.

My recent completion of my Master's degree in UX Design at the University of Toronto further specialized my skills in conducting user research & design research, prototyping, and usability testing.

These two backgrounds prepared me to become a strong UX Researcher who is currently strategizing digital innovations through User Research at Intact Financial Corporation.
